About Us

RTFC Consulting is a leading procurement services provider, supporting blue chip multi-nationals and SME clients globally to deliver increased value from their procurement. We partner with our clients on a long-term basis, deploying a unique blend of consulting, bespoke technology solutions, and ongoing procurement services, in order to deliver sustainable improvements.

RTFC Consulting delivers transformational change in procurement by implementing strategic category management in a way that changes the relationship a business has with its suppliers. In essence, we redefine the role of procurement from support function to business partner.

RTFC helps clients identify and deliver procurement improvements, transform their capabilities, and sustain those changes for the long term. We are known for the breadth and depth of our capabilities, from strategic insight to tactical execution, from indirect services to direct materials and Capex costs, and from focused consulting engagements to long-term managed services.

Transformation, rather than a quick fix means we add long-term value that stretches far beyond immediate cost savings.

RTFC’s approach reduces a client’s cost base in a sustainable way by bringing together stakeholders from across the business to work out what they really need to buy, identifying appropriate suppliers and negotiating robust contracts that deliver the right balance of cost, quality and service.

Sometimes we coach and support a client team to deliver savings; sometimes we do the ‘heavy lifting’ ourselves. Whatever the approach, we can be certain the culture change will be long-lasting and beneficial to the procurement team, the business and its suppliers.

We recruit only the best, drawing from top-tier business schools and blue-chip consultancies. Our people are intelligent, analytical, driven and international.  They combine analytical skills, strategic sourcing processes, and category knowledge with effective stakeholder management to effect real change for our clients.

RTFC believes successful procurement is 80% communication and 20% purchasing. It’s the reason we use a collaborative approach – often over a simple cup of coffee - and why our consultants have business and people skills as well as purchasing experience.

It’s not our style to beat-up suppliers to gain a lower price. We help clients see both sides of the procurement story to identify what they actually need from their suppliers and establish which product or service elements add value and which don't. The result is procurement that delivers business value, at lower cost and with better supplier relationships.
